This simulation lets you choose between two datasets: LPEA (measured plant + NWS inputs) and Custom (NSRDB-formatted inputs). Use the date ranges below to decide which dataset applies, or upload a custom CSV to override the date range.

1 Select Simulation Dates

Pick a start date and end date for the simulation:

  • LPEA Data: 09/25/2025 to yesterday (measured inputs)

  • Custom (NSRDB) Data: 01/01/2018 to 12/31/2024 (historical NSRDB)

2 Custom Inputs (Optional)

Custom inputs must follow the NREL NSRDB CSV format. Download the template below and edit in a text editor to avoid formatting changes from spreadsheet tools.

If a custom dataset is uploaded, it overrides the selected date range inputs.
3 Tweak Loss Parameters (Optional)

Adjust the default system loss assumptions used by the simulation.

4 Run Simulation
